About us

🏠 who we are

We are a volunteer-run, self-funded organisation based in Greater Manchester, driven by a shared passion for tackling the housing crisis and revitalising our communities. Born out of frustration with the sheer number of empty and derelict properties, we’ve committed ourselves to bringing these homes back into use—one property at a time.

💡 Our Mission

Our mission is simple:
To help ease the housing crisis by identifying and restoring empty homes across Greater Manchester.

We work closely with:

  • Homeowners of long-term vacant properties

  • Neighbours and community members concerned about empty homes on their streets

  • Probate cases, legal representatives, and families looking to resolve difficult property situations

Our goal is to reconnect owners with solutions, not judgment—offering support every step of the way.

🛠️ What We Do

We provide a full-service support team that helps navigate:

  • Legal paperwork

  • Probate complexities

  • Ownership disputes

  • Property preparation for sale

We work alongside a trusted network of ethical investors who are ready to:

  • Purchase properties quickly and fairly

  • Refurbish to decent living standards

  • Return them to the rental or residential market

🤝 How We’re Different

  • 100% volunteer-run

  • Not-for-profit and self-funded

  • Community-focused, not profit-driven

  • Members of the Empty Homes Network, reinforcing our commitment to best practice
